Getting Started

To get started it will require a small initial cost. The main items are:

• a set of bowls(consists of four)
• a set of bowling shoes
• a bowls bag
• Total outlay to start could be aprox 120 pounds.

These items can sometimes be available at a small cost to hire at most council owned greens.Most clubs have an annual membership fee and the local councils charge green fees.

Newcomers are welcome to come along and give it a try. Coaches and Club members will always give their time to encourage you to learn the game.
