Blaenavon Bowls Club is situated in the former Iron and Steel and Mining town of Blaenavon at the top of the Eastern Valley In Torfaen County Borough near Pontypool, Monmouthshire.

The Bowls green was built in the early 1920s at the Miners Welfare Ground which is located at the top of the town near to the Leisure Centre,which you will find signposted on the main road from Pontypool. You can also follow the signs for Big Pit Mining Museum.

The Blaenavon Bowls Clubhouse is at the Blaenavon Rugby Club close to the green.

In 1997 the town of Blaenavon became a World Heritage Site.
